SANDOVAL C.U.S.D. 501 MISSION STATEMENT

It is the mission of Sandoval C.U.S.D. 501 to provide educational opportunities focused on the future to meet the needs of all in a safe, nurturing environment so that all may reach their fullest potential.

Welcome to the new website! We are putting the final touches on it so that we are up-to-date in the new school year! Please be patient with us as we continue to update the website.


Important dates for the end of the school year.

May 19th – 8th Grade Graduation – 7 P.M.

May 20th – Senior Graduation – 7 P.M.

Students last day of school will be May 20th – 2:10/2:20 Dismissal

Sandoval High School- Illinois State Scholar

Kade Gambill, a senior at Sandoval High School, was named a 2016 Illinois State Scholar, according to the Illinois Student Assistance Commission (ISAC).The Illinois State Scholar Program recognizes Illinois high school seniors for outstanding academic achievement.  Illinois State Scholars represent approximately the top ten percent of high school seniors, from 652 different high schools across the state.  Selections are based on a combination of exemplary college entrance examination scores and class rank at the end of the sixth semester in high school.Kade plans to attend Kaskaskia College to receive a degree in agricultural science, then transfer to a four year university to double major in public policy and law with a concentration in agriculture and political science.  He is the son of Steve and Carla Gambill.

Sandoval Jr./Sr. High School Students of the month for March were recently recognized.

Sandoval Jr./Sr. High School Students of the month for March were recently recognized. These students were selected based on their outstanding ability to show perseverance. Prizes were donated by Colonial Golf Course.

The Sandoval  7th grade students were also recognized for having the least amount of tardy’s to school and for collecting the most non perishable food items during the recent food drive!

District Information

Sandoval Junior-Senior High school will start at 8:10 a.m. and will dismissed at 2:55 p.m. The Elementary school will start at 8:15 a.m. and will dismissed at 2:45 p.m.

Every Wednesday school will be dismissed at 2:10 p.m. at the Elementary School and 2:20 p.m. at the Junior-Senior High School.
