We hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving break filled with rest, laughter, and time with loved ones. We’re excited to welcome everyone back on Monday, December 1st, and dive into the weeks ahead together. As we settle back in, we’ll be focusing on re‑establishing routines (for example the Elementary 2:45 pm and Jr./Sr. High 2:55 pm dismissal times) . Also, setting goals and making the most of the time before we enjoy winter break. Please encourage your child to come ready to learn, participate, and enjoy all the activities happening this season. Thank you for your continued support as we’re grateful for our school community and looking forward to a positive and productive finish to the semester!

Ella Santiago was chosen as the Junior High Student for her JH FFA Leadership. She was willing to go above and beyond to attend FFA events.
Braylon Hodge was chosen as the High School Student for his work in the Elementary Cafeteria. Braylon has been a huge help to the kitchen staff.
Mrs. Barnes Williams & Mr. Jett were chosen for their FFA collaboration to boost our FFA Program.
Brandon Reed was chosen as the Elementary Student for his amazing job of learning procedures, turning in homework, being honest, participating and making friends in Mrs. Pryor's Class.
Mr. Buddy Pennington was chosen for his dedication to the Elementary School since 1994. He has been vital in keeping the building clean and making sure our students get safely to school.

Blackhawks! School lets out tomorrow, Friday, August 29th, at 12:40 pm for the Elementary School and 12:50 pm for the Jr./Sr. High School. There will be no school on Monday, September 1, 2025 due to the Labor Day holiday. School will resume on Tuesday, September 2, 2025. We will begin the "normal schedule" resuming normal dismissal times of 2:45 pm for the Elementary School and 2:55 pm for the Jr./Sr. High School. Have a wonderful Labor Day weekend with you family and friends!

To ensure a smooth registration process, please bring the following items:
Valid photo identification (driver’s license, state ID, etc.) and proof of residency within the Sandoval School District (such as a utility bill, lease agreement, or other official document showing your current address). Your cooperation helps us keep our records accurate and ensures all students receive the support and resources they need for a strong start to the year. Blackhawks and Blackhawk staff, the high school and district offices will be closed Wednesday 7/16 to 7/21 while waxing the main hallway. It will reopen on Monday 7/21/25. Please avoid this area until Monday.
