
Sandoval Elementary School recognized the Students of the Month for March. The students were chosen because of their outstanding display of PERSEVERANCE, such as displaying determination to accomplish a goal, showing motivation to keep going and giving their best, showing diligence to keep moving forward, and displaying courage to meet a challenge without fear. The assembly this month was sponsored by Sandoval Woman's Club with Linda Lutz as a representative for the presentation.
Those selected were Knox Purcell, Hadley Winegarner, Braylen Berkel, Bentley Smith, Toby Bray, Shaylee Miller, Carter Branon, Jacob Hanks, Dylan Eagan, Kyler Skurat, Carter Melton, Qwintierre Shackleford, Exaviar Johnson, Ayden Hunt, Gavin Pitts, and Skyler Swartzlander.

Dear Blackhawk Families:
Graduation Dates have been set.
High School Graduation will be on May 13th at 6:00pm
8th Grade Graduation will be on May 18th at 6:00pm
Both Graduations will be outside, weather permitting.

Due to the road construction in Junction City on Van Buren street, the buses will break up the route. Please keep a look at for your student if they are riding the bus and live in that area.

Sandoval Blackhawk Families: This is a reminder that tomorrow March 4 is an early dismissal day. The elementary school will dismiss at 12:40. The Jr/Sr high school will dismiss at 12:50.

The students were chosen because of their outstanding display of HONESTY, such as telling the truth at all times regardless of the consequences, being reliable, showing loyalty to friends by refraining from gossip or hurtful words, and being trustworthy. The assembly this month was sponsored by Angie's Hair Express of Sandoval.
Students chosen were Rhett McHenry, Aiden Clark, Trent Bates, Jonah Dahl, Deacon Moseley, Stiles Ward, Sonny Knolhoff, Case Purcell, Julian Sharkey, Riley Schwab, Landon Hays, Kinsley Ashlock, Khloe McWhirter, Iolana Ochs, Alyssa Jones and Kolten McWhirter.

Dear Blackhawk Families:
Due to flooding on the roads and potential ice/sleet mix, the Elementary School will dismiss at 12:40 and the Jr/Sr High will dismiss at 12:50 today February 17th, 2022. All after school programs and activities have been cancelled for this evening.

Blackhawk Nation:
On the evening of February 15th, the Joint Committee on Administrative Rules voted 9-0-2 to reject the reintroduction of emergency rules for Covid-19 protocols in schools which include masking, testing, and exclusion.
As a result of the action taken by the JCAR, Sandoval CUSD 501 will now be MASK OPTIONAL for all students and staff starting today, Wednesday February 16, 2022.
